When the Kingsman is destroyed and the world is in danger, Eggsy and Merlin must band together with a spy organization called The Statesman to save the world.
Whenever there’s a sequel from a great film, some might
think if it could be better than the first or not as good. Kingsman’s problem
is that it tries WAY too hard to be as good as the first and it doesn’t fail
but it has a lot of problems with reminding audiences about what happend in the
previous film. We've been there and seen it, they don’t need to keep reminding us.
This film expands the world of the Statesman which is an American version of the
Kingsman. Their gadgets are way different than the English showing that they
are just equipped and just as reliable as the Kingsman. The action is great
with over the top scenes that are shot perfectly. The cast is bigger and better
than ever with more talented actors and also a great singer which I don’t want
to spoil it, but the character is the best part of the film. Julianne Moore is
perfect as a villain and her plan is pretty out there. I didn’t hate the movie
at all and its fun to watch but it’s hard to beat an original idea. It’s more
of a rental than buying right when it comes out. Definitely worth watching in
theaters but don’t get your hopes up. Verdict: 7.5.
